Architecture in the History of Wine
The story of wine is one steeped in century-old tales, extraordinary characters, as well as both decadence and austerity. What most do not know is that wine, and the people who make them, have often been influenced by their surroundings and the nature of the world around them.
During this workshop we will be discussing the role of Architecture in wine – understanding the history of selected Houses, their distinctive architectural styles, and how these structures were conceptualised and built while incorporating the traditions of the winemakers and family owners.
Alongside the discussions will be a guided tasting of four enchanting wines, specially selected for the architectural wonders of their origins.
- All participants must be 18 years old and above, please bring an identification document for verification on the event day.
- Please kindly have dinner before attending the workshop, as only light snacks will be provided.
- Both workshops will have the same content, each participant is allowed to attend one session only. Thank you.
